This looks at Barack Obama’s presidential campaign and speeches and compares them to different presidents -The final two weeks give students the opportunity to create their own presidential campaign and to create a celebration of Black History Month. These weeks include lots of opportunity for written and spoken assessment, as well as collaborative projects. Each week has a blue highlighted task that can be the assessment task, or a weekly checkpoint task.
